At Ratu Ayu Villa you have a unique opportunity
to participate in across-cultural experience
by learning about Balinese Hindu Religion.
There are many shrines in Bali and around Ratu
Ayu, each with a special significance, characterizing
the manifestations of one god. The spirits residing
in these various shrines are there to protect
and to guard you.
If you would like to share in our rituals of
giving thanks for all life, we will provide
you with the particular Balinese offerings (made
from flowers and banana or young coconut leaf
and burning incense) so you may make a courtesy
call to the spirits at the shrines.
You my give thanks upon you arrival, before
you go to bed (especially during a dark or full
moon), or when you return form sightseeing our
outings.
Keeping with these ancient customs of balancing
and thanking our relation ship with nature,
the creator and with each other, we hope your
stay will indeed be very special. |
